Catamaran Sunset Sail

Description:   Looking to enjoy a nice relaxing way to end your day?  Try a sunset catamaran sail.  Your evening begins by stepping onto this beautiful 53-foot catamaran.  You will be asked to leave your shoes in a box, as you step aboard.  Find the spot that best suits where you want to sit and spend the next few hours.  There are bean bags for seating, or the padded trampoline area for lounging.

We will spend the next 2-3 hours, meandering down the coast of Ambergris Caye, along the second largest barrier reef in the world, to a sunset backdrop.  Be sure to bring your camera, you’ll want to take advantage of these gorgeous amazing views, as the clouds light up into a specular display of colors, and the night sky turns on its star night lights.

Shortly after we set sail, you can enjoy the evening with some tropical Caribbean music, either a beer or a rum punch, along with light snacks.  Snuggle up to that special someone and watch the sun disappear into the horizon.

After the sun sets and the stars come out, we make our way back to the dock in San Pedro.  This is definitely a great way to end your vacation, and will surely be a night to remember.

A sunset sail on a catamaran, is one of the best ways to spend your last evening in paradise.

The catamaran is designed for comfort and relaxation.  There is a large expended deck area up front, with a soft trampoline, where a number of bean bags have been arranged for you to sit on.

Or you can enjoy the sunset from a smaller deck area, located just outside the cabin to the rear of the catamaran.

The cruise departs at 4:45 p.m. from our dock, at the back Marina.  We then meander along the Belize Barrier Reef (second largest barrier reef in the world), as you watch the sun disappear into the horizon.  While enjoying this two hour cruise, we will be serving, beer, rum punch, and shrimp ceviche as an appetizer.

As the sun sets on the horizon, we start to make our way back to the dock, reaching back around 7:15 p.m. under romantic starlight.

This tour does not work well for small children and infants.  There are bathroom facilities on board, and there is a small inner cabin for those who would like to be inside.

This tour can be added to any vacation package that you have selected.  We recommend doing this tour, on the last evening of your visit in San Pedro.  If you would like to add this tour to the vacation package, simply notify us in advance and we can make all the arrangements for you.
