Belize Budget Suites, is located on the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye, off the mainland coast of Belize. We’re located about 1.5 miles South of San Pedro (the Island Airstrip & Water Taxi terminals). This equates to about a 10 minute drive from the airstrip (or water taxi terminals) to the property. The property is not on a main street, but is located off a main street, in a quiet residential neighborhood surrounded by a cluster of Australian Pine trees. The property backs to a littoral jungle, and is surrounded by tropical gardens. The beach can be accessed with a 1-2 minute walk from the property. Within walking distance of the property, we have (3) restaurants, (2) fruit & produce stands, and (2) local grocery stores. We have many American & Canadian (aka snow birds), who stay here seeking to escape the harsh winters of the north. Many refer to us as their “Home Away From Home”. Consider this your personal invitation to come spend some time with us.
All our suites have been recently renovated. The property consists of (10) suites, eight rentable (1) bedroom suites, and one rentable (2) bedroom suite. Each suite has a living-room, kitchenette, private bath and bedroom. Three (3) of the suites (1-2), (6-7), (8-9) can be joined to an adjacent suite (by an interior door), creating what we call a "Family Suite". One suite will offer a queen size bed, the adjoining suite will offer two twin beds. This works well for groups traveling together, families together with extended family, grandparents, traveling companions, room-mates, college buddies and more. The entire building can be rented for group functions or family reunions. We can accommodate a group up to 30 people. This usually requires booking far enough in advance - so that all rooms are available.

Belize Budget Suites
1.5 Miles South of the Island Airstrip. This equates to about a 10 minute drive from the airstrip to the property. We're not the big "Luxury Ocean-Side Condominium Resort" and we're not the "Back-Packers Inn" (we're right in between). If you're looking for something that is clean, affordable, located close to the beach, and a one minute walk to a very nice restaurant on the island (serving breakfast, lunch & dinner), then look no further. We're two hours from Houston & Miami, 15 minutes from the mainland (via a puddle jumper flight), 10-15 minutes from the island airstrip and the heart of downtown San Pedro. The property sits close to the shore line on Ambergris Caye (which boarders the Meso-American Barrier Reef), which Belize is a part of. It is the second largest living barrier reef in the world. You have access to over 70 diving sites off our shore, not to mention diving at the Blue Hole and Turneffe Atoll. Popular snorkeling sites are Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley, both being about 20 minute away. Shark Ray Alley was rated one of the top animal dives in the entire Caribbean by Skin Diver Magazine.

Option #1 - Other hotels & resorts charge anywhere from $210-535. USD per night. Our rooms are affordably priced at $70-125. USD per night.
Option #2 - Other hotels & resorts charge anywhere from $25.-$35. USD for an additional person per night. Our rate is just $10. USD per night.
Option #3 - With most hotels, you get a room, with us you get a suite. A suite means more space, a kitchenette, a living-room, and less cash out of pocket.
Option #4 - If you opt for the expensive rooms, then you're going to be paying a higher nightly rate. By the time you've paid for your airfare, and the hotel room (chances are), there's little money left over to do anything else. This is why most people end up spending their entire vacation at the place they are staying - at the pool or in their room.
