Day Sail to Caye Caulker

Day Sail Caye Caulker - Read More
This is a very popular tour, for those looking to relax and soak up a little sun.  It’s a great tour for families looking for something to do together, and grandparents get a kick out of watching from the side.  This tour leaves the dock about 8:00-8:30 in the morning.  You then leisurely spend the morning sailing along the second largest barrier reef in the world, making our way to Caye Caulker (a sister island).   Enjoy a brief stop at Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley.  Upon arriving at Caye Caulker, you will be given a chance to disembark the vessel and take a leisurely stroll through town.  Feel free to stop and grab a bite to eat and do a little window shopping.  About 1-1/2 to 2 hours later, you will make your way back to the boat, for a leisurely sail back to Ambergris Caye.  The sail back to San Pedro is very relaxing, and you will be able to enjoy several complimentary rum punches along the way.  We should be back to the island about 4:00-4:30, giving you enough time to rest and spend the rest of the evening doing what you like.

Day Sail Manatee Watch - Beach BBQ

Located about 28 miles south of Ambergris Caye, is Shallow Caye Reserve which is dedicated to saving the manatee.  We start the day by making our way to Swallow Caye, where we will view this endangered West Indian Manatee in their natural habitat from the boat.  Please note there is no swimming with the Manatee, and by government regulations we are not allowed to feed or touch them.  Currently there are approximately 1,000 manatee living in Belize, but thanks to strong protection from the government, the manatee population is slowly growing.  After spending some time watching the manatee, we head over to Goff’s Caye to do a little snorkeling along this magical reef.  Here our guides will prepare a delicious beach lunch for you to enjoy, while you relax and do a little snorkeling along the pristine white beaches.  On the way back to San Pedro enjoy a cold beverage, as we make our way to our quaint little sister island Caye Caulker.  Here you can enjoy a nice walk through town, and do a little exploring.   Once everyone has had a little time to relax and do a little window shopping, we board the boat again and enjoy another 30 minute boat ride back to Ambergris Caye.
