Where is Belize Budget Suites Located?

We're approximately 1.5 miles south of the Island Airstrip & San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi.  This equates to about a 10 minute drive from either the airstrip or the water taxi terminals to the the property.  To access the beach from the property, it's about a 1-2 minute walk. 

DIRECTIONS TO THE PROPERTY
Once you have arrived at the island (via aircraft or boat), you can take a taxi - from the center of town, to the property.  We are about 1.5 miles south of town, which equates to about a 10-15 minute drive.  It's very easy to get to the property to and from town. 

DIRECTIONS YOU CAN GIVE TO YOUR TAXI DRIVER
The directions from the Center of Town are as follows:
From the island airstrip (Tropic Air terminal), follow Coconut Drive going south, until it turns to the right.  After turning right (follow this for a short distance), till you come to a gas station (on your right).  At the gas station turn left (you are now on Sea Grape Drive).  Follow Sea Grape Drive until you reach (Banana Beach Resort & Mata Rocks Resort on your left).  Once you've passed Banana Beach Resort, Mata Rocks Resort will be right after that.  Look directly across the street and you'll see the Belize Budget Suites sign and a dirt road.  Take the dirt road (going towards the lagoon).  Follow the dirt road (directional signs) and take your second left.  There you will see a (2) story green building with brown doors.  You have arrived!

DIRECTIONS TO SECRET BEACH (From Belize Budget Suites) - On main street (Sea Grape Street), go north to San Pedro.  Road will swing around old ship (in the road) just before "The Baker" on your right & "Super Buy South" on your left.  Follow Sea Grape Street (north), until you reach the gas station.  At the gas station make a right, you are now on Coconut Drive.  Drive for a short distance as the road will turn left (going north), follow this road (Coconut Drive) till you get to the Tropic Air (island airport) terminal.  Curve around Tropic Air, passing the Sancas building.  The road will stop at a "T", make a right, going towards the beach and turn left onto Front Street.  You will see Belize Chocolate on the corner as you turn left.  Follow front street, going north, and turn left just before Belize Bank.  Make a left prior to Belize Bank, passing "Man-of-War" on your left.  At the intersection, make a right (you are now on Middle Street).  Follow Middle Street until you reach the bridge.  Cross the bridge and follow this road going north for about 5-6 miles.  The road will dead end at a "T" in the road.  You will want to follow the signs and make a left going to secret beach.  From this point forward, follow the directional signs to secret beach.  After the bridge, this will be a dirt road all the way to secret beach. It can get bumpy and there may be many pot holes depending on the time of year.
