Waterfall Rappelling

Description - Are you ready for the adrenaline rush of the week?  Then waterfall rappelling is for you.

Upon arrival to the foothills of the Mayan Mountains, you will meet your guide and receive a short safety briefing, followed by being fitted with equipment.  Next is an hour-long strenuous hike up through the rainforest to the top of the 1,000-foot Antelope Falls.  This is an intense hike to the top, where you can then enjoy a “jaw-dropping” panoramic view of the rainforest jungle.

Once at the top you will have the opportunity to cool off, by taking a brief refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of a natural emerald poo, located at the top of the falls.  Take in the breath-taking views, while your guides set up the rappelling ropes.

As soon as the ropes are prepared, you’ll be putting on your knee and elbow pads.  You will then rappel down 500 feet to the water’s edge.  There are two stages to the rappel, the first being the wettest and most slippery, but also the most fun.  The second stage is slightly easier.  There are three guides to help with your descent and to ensure, that you have fun and remain safe at all times.

If you are an avid hiker, a thrill seeker or an adventurous explorer, this is the tour for you.  This tour takes about 4 hours to complete.

After your challenging hike cool off in the refreshing emerald pools at the top of the falls. From the top you can enjoy the breath taking views and see all the way to the Caribbean Sea.
After a short walk back down the trail you will take an exhilarating 250ft rappel down the antelope falls. This rappel is done in two different rappels.
Climb to the top of the 1,000 foot falls through lush rain forest learning about the flora and fauna on the way. End the challenging hike with a refreshing swim in the emerald pools and take in the breathtaking view of the Tropical Rain Forest & Caribbean Sea.
Take the exhilarating 250ft rappel in two rappels with our licensed guides. This really is a tour to remember. The tour takes approximately 4 hours to complete.
