Late Evening

Ambergris Caye Nightlife - With Ambergris Caye being the number one tourist destination for Belize, it's noted for having continuous non-stop entertainment every single night.  The beaches are lined with bars and restaurants, of your choosing.  The nighlife scene in San Pedro though, has recently changed dramatically.  This is principally due to some new municipal regulations regarding noise pollution.  Most bars are now only allowed to stay open until midnight.  A few bars can open until later if they are enclosed or have a permit to stay open after midnight, but this is mostly on special occasions.  Since things have recently changed so much, it's not as obvious which bars in San Pedro are "happening" anymore.

Jaguar's Temple (226-2004)  https://www.facebook.com
Jaguar’s Temple Nightclub is the most popular late night (after midnight) spot on the island.   As with any nightclub, please be cautious of your surroundings and do not drink to excess. By way of a reminder, please do not drink and drive.  Have someone who is a designated driver with you.  Located at the center of town, Jaguar's is the most popular nightclub in San Pedro.  It is also the only night club that opens after midnight, which means you'll find that everyone ends up there.  It is usually free for ladies on Fridays - unless there's s special event.  Cover charge is usualy $10. BZD, unless there is a special event.   Hours of Operation:  Open Thursday through Saturday and for special holidays.

Big Daddy's Bar & Daddy Rock's Disco (604-7038 or 607-2229)
https://www.facebook.com/BIG-Daddys-Lounge-699042863491555/
Big Daddy’s/Daddy Rock’s is a bar by the ocean's edge, and a cavernous disco behind.  It is the longest standing bar in San Pedro.  It tends to have a reputation as being a bit rough, so be cautious.  This place certainly draws a crowd, once most of the other bars in town have closed.   By way of a reminder, please do not drink and drive.  Have someone who is a designated driver with you.  Daddy Rock's Night Club is located at the center of town.  People usualy go here when everything else is closed.  This place is open every night of the week unless it's really slow during the tourism slow season.
LOCATION - Barrier Reef Drive, San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.  Located right next to the San Pedro Catholic church & Central Park on Front Street.
UPDATE:  DaddyRock Nightclub is presently closed due to Covid-19.  Updated:  November 30, 2020

Fido's Bar & Grill (226-3176)  https://www.facebook.com/Fidoscourtyard/
Fido's Bar is the largest open-air palapa on the island, offering a casual environment with great drinks, food, and entertainment every day of the week.  Besides serving up delicious seafood, this is a lively bar every day of the week. They are located on the beachfront, offering a great atmosphere for some tropical cocktails or your favorite beer.  By way of a reminder, please do not drink and drive.  Have someone who is a designated driver with you.
LOCATION - 18 Barrier Reef Drive, San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.  Set near the heart of San Pedro, Fido's Restaurant & Bar is on the premises of Fido's Steak & Lobster.
