Reef Runner Glass Bottom Boat has been in operation for over 15 years. The boat is 24 feet long and the viewing glass is 20 inches wide and 16 feet long. It has a shade where one can climb to sunbathe. The Reef Runner Glass Bottom Boat is licensed and can comfortably accommodate 20 passengers. It is equipped with life vests for both adults and children and also with floating rings.

On the sightseeing and snorkeling tour you will enjoy beautiful sights of spectacular corals, such as elkhorn coral, sheet coral, grooved brain coral, finger corals and many more. There are also colorful purple, yellow and red sponges. Swimming and hiding amongst these corals are a colorful array of playful and curious fishes and other sea animals such as flounders, starfish,crabs, nurse sharks, stingrays, octopus, yellowtail snappers, blue stripe grunts, parrot fish, hogfish, damsel fish and much much more.

Reef Runner Glass Bottom Boat offers two tour options. Two tours daily leaving at 9:00am and 2:00pm.
Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley
This is a our scheduled tour which goes at 9am and 2pm daily with a minimum of 4 adult pax except on holidays when the minimum is 6 adults. Trip is 3 hrs.
This tour is to the well-known protected area known as the Hol Chan Marine Reserve and the famous Shark Ray Alley, where you can swim with the nurse sharks and southern and Atlantic stingrays. Occasionally you see Loggerhead turtles. The sites are located about three miles from San Pedro Town on the reef. It's a 35 minute boat ride each way to get there and once there you have approximately 1 ½ hours of snorkeling. Total time on this tour is 3 hours. Non-snorkelers can watch the fish and sharks and stingrays from the glass or the side of the boat. They can also swim by the boat.

Available upon request if the scheduled tour to Hol Chan is not going. Minimum of 6 adults to go. Three hour trip as well. The site contains mixed algal and seagrass beds characteristic of the back reef interspersed with sandy areas and coral patch reefs of various sizes. The Montastrea annularis dominated patch reef system is unique in the Northern Shelf Lagoon. The dominance of this large boulder, coral in patch reefs is rare in Belize, with only one other location of such patch reefs known, at Glovers Reef. 30 hard coral species have been identified.
