What to Bring
General List

  • Camera and/or Cell Phone
  • Cash for lunches not included in tour
  • Cash for tipping your guide (recommend 15%)
  • Cash for park fees (if applicable)
  • Any personal medications (you need for day)
  • One Liter of Drinking Water (per person)
  • Personal medications (for the day)
  • Light rain jacket or windbreaker (especially if going on the water)
  • Snacks & drinks for small children
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
Note:  Most tours provide cold bottled water, sodas, and some sort of snack (usually cut fruit).

What to Bring
Jungle Activities

  • Binoculars (if applicable for birding)
  • Field Guide Books for Birders
  • Swim Shoes (if doing cave tubing & ATM cave)
  • Good Walking Shoes (Sneakers or Hiking Boots)
  • Insect Repellent
  • Back pack with long pants and shirt that allow for movement and can get wet, a full change of clothes, and personal toiletries. 
Note:  Most tours provide fresh bottled water, sodas, and some sort of snack.
Parent Notation:  Strollers are permitted in most places, although we recommend inquiring about your specific tour, before bringing a stroller.  Some locations strollers are prohibitive (such as Lamanai, and many boat excursions).
